To discuss esophageal papilloma of Helicobacter pylori infection inhibition

Abstract:

Objective

To study the esophageal papilloma(EP)of Helicobacter pylori(Hp)infection inhibition, for the early clinical diagnosis of esophageal papilloma and provide scientific basis for treatment.

Methods

through the routine inspection and detection of Hp endoscopy, retrospective analysis of Gaoming District of Foshan City People′s Hospital of digestive endoscopy center since March 2015 to patients since September 2015, selection of esophageal papilloma in 62 cases of the observation group were treated by gastroscopy, the initial diagnosis, the control group for the same period in our hospital for gastroscopy diagnosis for 1 000 cases of chronic superficial gastritis patients.Both the application of urea breath test for detection of [13C]Hp, in order to determine whether infection the comparative study between the Hp group, statistical analysis of differences between the two groups of Hp positive infection rate.

Results

in the observation group, Hp positive rate was 22.58%(14/62), the control group Hp positive infection rate was 62.4%(624/1 000), the two group.There were statistically significant differences between the groups(P<0.01). There was no significant difference in age between the two groups(P>0.05).

Conclusion

Hp infection may play a certain role in the pathogenesis of esophageal papilloma.
