Analysis of laparoscopic surgery for esophageal hiatal hernia in children

Abstract:

Objective

grasp the laparoscopic treatment of children with esophageal hiatal hernia in children, the advantages and disadvantages of hiatal hernia surgery hole and laparoscopic operation safety problems through to provide some help for clinical application of laparoscopic treatment of esophageal hiatal hernia in children.

Methods

a retrospective analysis from October 2012 to December 2016, 4 of pediatric surgery treatment center(the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region people′s Hospital pediatric surgery, Department of pediatric surgery, Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Hebei Medical University Affiliated Hospital pediatric surgery Affiliated Hospital of second medical records of pediatric surgery)55 cases were treated by laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of esophageal hiatal hernia patients were analyzed; laparoscopic treatment of pediatric esophageal hiatal hernia surgery, surgical techniques and pointer operation safety.

Results

55 cases of esophageal hiatal hernia, 54 cases were successfully operated under laparoscope.One case of esophageal hiatal hernia recurred after operation on February.Third, laparoscopic repair of hiatal hernia hernia repair and hernia sac resection, followed up for six months, no recurrence.By the time of laparoscopic surgery for abdominal surgery in 120~180 min, there were no obvious bleeding; after 24~48 h eating liquid diet; not removed hernia with hernia sac larger postoperative chest X-ray showed local chest shadow, no shadow small hernia sac.

Conclusion

Laparoscopic surgery for children with hiatal hernia can be widely applied in pediatric surgery sespecially for those who has the experience of laparoscopic surgery laparoscopic surgery.
