Perioperative nursing care experiences of patients undergoing laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair combined with fundoplication

Abstract:

Objective

To summarize the perioperative nursing experience of laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair combined with fundoplication.

Methods

Retrospective analysis from March 2014 to October 2015 in the people′s Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and 62 cases of patients who undergoing laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair, summarize the perioperative nursing experience.

Results

There are 62 patients after careful perioperative nursing, achieved good therapeutic effect, and the preoperative average length was(5.1+ 2)days, the average hospitalization time was(6.8+ 3.8)days, after 12 months follow-up, there was no recurrence case.

Conclusion

There is minimally invasive, low recurrence rate the advantages of less complications and satisfaction of laparoscopic surgery for hiatal hernia repair, It is an important guarantee to improve the efficacy of the operation by doing well the preoperative preparation、postoperative complications observation and guiding correct eating habits of nursing.
