Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the effect of gastroesophageal reflux on pulmonary ventilation function in patients with asthma.

Methods

102 cases of asthma patients received from August 2016 to August 2017 in People′s Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region were included in the randomized controlled trial.102 patients were divided into the observation group(n=45)and the control group(n=57)according to the occurrence of gastroesophageal reflux. The retrospective analysis was used to analyze the clinical data of two groups of patients.

Results

The pulmonary function of 45 patients in the observation group was significantly worse than that in the control group, the difference was significant(P<0.05).

Conclusion

Gastroesophageal reflux will aggravate the condition of asthma patients and seriously affect the pulmonary ventilation function.Asthma patients are also likely to induce gastroesophageal reflux, suggesting that the clinical treatment of asthma patients should give corresponding anti reflux therapy.

Key words: Gastroesophageal reflux, Pulmonary ventilation function, Asthma, Anti reflux therapy
