Experience of cooperation in the treatment of congenital esophageal atresia by thoracoscopic surgery

Abstract:

Objective

To summarize the experience of cooperation in the treatment of congenital esophageal atresia by thoracoscopic surgery.

Methods

From July 2020 to December 2021,13 cases of children with congenital esophageal atresia treated by thoracoscopic surgery in the Children's Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region were selected for preoperative visit, psychological care for their families, and tripartite inspection, pipeline management, body temperature management, body position management, skin management, and surgery during the operation. Equipment and item management, etc., and cooperate with nursing measures such as reasonable placement of equipment and management of surgical stations.

Results

All 13 children in this group successfully completed the operation under general anesthesia and thoracoscopy, and passed the operation period safely and smoothly.

Conclusion

Thoracoscopic surgery for neonatal congenital esophageal atresia is more and more accepted because of its good cosmetic effect and less postoperative complications;The operating room nurses make adequate preoperative preparations, timely intraoperative assessment, and skillful surgical cooperation to ensure the smooth operation of the operation and improve the quality of surgical cooperation.
