Abstract:

Hiatal hernia is a common disease. For patients with severe symptoms or those who do not respond to medication, surgical treatments such as laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair and fundoplication are necessary. Clinical findings have shown that applying traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatments before and after surgery demonstrates good efficacy. Through syndrome differentiation, the use of Xuanfu Daizhe Tang and its modified formulas can improve the clinical manifestations of patients before and after surgery. Combining TCM treatments with surgical interventions can comprehensively improve the structure and function of the patient's digestive tract, shorten the recovery time, and enhance treatment outcomes.
