Correlation between metabolic abnormality and disease and gastroesophageal reflux1

Abstract:

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a common disease in gastroenterology with high morbidity and chronic recurrence, which seriously affects the quality of life of patients.The incidence of GERD is related to many factors, among which metabolic abnormality is one of the risk factors.Metabolic abnormalities can cause many diseases, such as obesity, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, hypertension and hyperuricemia, etc. Metabolic abnormalities and diseases have a certain correlation with the occurrence of GERD.This article will discuss the correlation between metabolic abnormalities and gastroesophageal reflux disease.
