Abstract:

Objective

To explore the incidence and risk factors of esophageal external manifestations in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Methods

The clinical data of 200 patients diagnosed as GERD were retrospectively analyzed. The incidence and risk factors of esophageal external manifestations in GERD patients were analyzed by univariate and multivariate analysis.

Results

The incidence of external esophageal manifestations in patients was 47%, reflux laryngology, reflux cough and reflux asthma were 26.50%、15.55%、and 12.00%, and there was no correlation between the three; The incidence of esophageal external manifestations of Uygur GERD is significantly higher than that of Han nationality (2=9.167, P=0.002); Multiple factor Logistic regression analysis showed that Uygur, tired, overeating, diet structure and GerdQ scale score 11~14 and 15~18 were independent risk factors for the occurrence of external esophageal manifestations.

Conclusion

The incidence of Uygur GERD patients is higher than that of the Han people. Uygur, tired, overeating, diet structure and high GerdQ scale are the risk factors for the appearance of GERD.
