Application of ladder training mode in clinical teaching of laparoscopic surgery training for advanced surgery doctors of general surgery department

Abstract:

Objective

To explore a new stage training model for laparoscopic surgery skills of general surgical trainees.

Methods

68 trainees who studied in our department from March 2015 to May 2017 were selected to evaluate their mastery of laparoscopy and to adopt different theories for different students. Studying, watching operation videos, training simulators and the completion of animal simulation operations were carried out step-by-step training, and the training of trainees was evaluated objectively in the form of departure theory and operation examination.

Results

All the trainees were familiar with the basic skills of laparoscopy and mastered the basic skills of laparoscopy. The qualified rate of theoretical and practical operation was 100%. The learning effect and satisfaction were significant, and good teaching effect was achieved.

Conclusion

According to the specific situation of the general surgical students, the combination of clinical teaching theory and laparoscopic training, laparoscopic technology ladder teaching, learning effect is significant, and achieved good teaching results.
