Progress in treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease

Abstract:

Gastroesophageal reflux disease is a common motivation of upper gastrointestinal tract disorder, the incidence rate showed a trend of rising year by year. The current treatments of gastroesophageal reflux disease mainly include lifestyle changes, the application of proton pump inhibitors and traditional Chinese medicine treatment. Endoscopic treatments, such as endoscopic radiofrequency ablation, injection therapy, anti-reflux surgery, and surgical treatments can remit patients' symptoms and reduce the incidence of complications of gastroesophageal reflux disease. Appropriate treatment methods should be selected according to specific conditions.
