Research progress in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease by endoscopic cardiac coarctation

Abstract

Abstract:

Peroral endoscopic cardial constriction (PECC) can effectively treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), reduce the use rate of antiacid drugs, reduce reflux symptoms of patients, and improve the quality of life of patients. However, the therapeutic principle and long-term therapeutic effect of PECC in treating GERD are not completely clear, and many related studies cannot fully unify some indicators of this technology. In this paper, the latest research progress of this technology is reviewed.
