Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the clinical effect of pyloroplasty on gastroesophageal reflux after cardia cancer surgery.

Methods

A total of 82 patients with cardia cancer who underwent surgery in our hospital from June 2013 to June 2016 were selected as the study subjects. Forty-seven patients underwent cardia cancer radical operation as the control group. 35 patients underwent cardia cancer radical resection and pyloroplasty, as an experimental group, and compare the two groups of patients.

Results

The recovery time of intestinal peristalsis, gastric tube placement time, gastric drainage, acid reflux and post-sternal burning sensation and reflux esophagitis in experimental group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).

Conclusion

Pyloroplasty can effectively reduce the incidence of gastroesophageal reflux after cardia cancer, and is worthy of clinical application.
